Clean and elegant in its design, this kit is 100% engineered and fabricated in the USA to be compatible with or without Ford OEM and B&W fifth wheel prep bracketry. With the Spacer removed, this kit will allow for full compression and droop travel of the leaf springs! Install the Spacer prior to pressurizing the airbags and off you go. Tools are not required due the spring loaded latch design. Whether on the road or off, this system is a performance, ride preserving must for your Superduty.
If you are employing a Deaver (Carli) full progressive spring pack, u-bolts are not provided in the kit. You must use the semi-round u-bolts that are supplied with the springs. Also note, for DRW (dually) applications you must have a minimum of 7.5" of tire clearance to the chassis face.
Use of this kit will negate proper function of Ford's "Onboard Scales/Smart Hitch" option, which is common on most Platinum and Limited models.
